Yesterday, I was searching the web to look for any other news regarding LibertyReserve being offline, apart from the official announcement published at the LibertyReserve Blog. While searching, I reached a popular exchanger sit, ECardOne. The most recent news published at EcardOne caught my attention.

This news was published at the EcardOne site, even before the latest official update was published at the LibertyReserve blog. They have probably added the link to the LibertyReserve latest update, after it was officially published at the LibertyReserve blog.
Presuming these exchangers have more inside news than ordinary account holders like us, this development can certainly be considered as a positive one.
The Latest update from Libertyreserve authorities states :
* The issues with blocking of certain LibertyReserve accounts was the flaw of an automated script, which will be unblocked during the present maintenance. This automated script was designed to counter multiple suspicious login attempts. As reported by LibertyReserve authorities this script failed to function properly, leading to erroneous blocking of accounts.
* As reported in the LibertyReserve announcement some interesting features particularly ‘ Funding option by Credit Card‘ is to be added to the verified account holders.
*Most importantly, these modifications and developments at LibertyReserve may take an additional 4 to 5 days to fully complete.
Well, I guess this announcement from LibertyReserve certainly cools down many nerves.

Any other explanation of this maintenance that you may come across online in various online forums is inaccurate or simply put – false and misleading.
